About the Role

We are excited to expand the FoodLabs Investment team with a Visiting Analyst. This role is a 4 to 6-month internship opportunity based in our office in Berlin. You will be supporting the Investment team along the entire investment process, from sourcing new deals and performing due diligences to actively supporting our founders in navigating a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial challenges. 

As a Venture Capital Visiting Analyst (Intern), you will be an integral part of our pre-seed team and will support us in:

  • Dive into the latest food tech trends and uncover exciting startups; create insightful reports that drive our next big investments.

  • Help scout and assess groundbreaking investment opportunities, from initial discovery to deep-dive analysis.
  • Play a key role in supporting our portfolio companies, tracking their success, and contributing to their strategic growth.
  • Attending FoodTech meetups to build out the FoodLabs network and brand within the community.


What you need to succeed
  • A passion for new technologies and business models disrupting the Food-, Bio-, and ClimateTech industries;

  • Outstanding university degree (or currently enrolled) in the field of Business, Finance, or Economics - a technical background is a plus;

  • Work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment (top-tier consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups);

  • Ability to articulate opinions on opportunities and technologies;

  • Analytical rigor in analyzing markets and understanding trends & technologies;

  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment;

  • Strong command of the English language - any additional European language is of advantage
