About the Venture
We are ZERO44, a B2B Climate SaaS scale-up on a mission to help a fascinating, centuries-old industry reach carbon zero by 2050 – a challenge probably as big for the shipping industry as moving from sailing boats to steam ships in the 20th century.
With a passionate international team of 20 employees, we develop digital products that enable our customers to turn challenging regulations into business opportunities.
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer (gn) who will play a key role in designing user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that ensure seamless digital experiences. They will tackle UX challenges, make strategic design decisions, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback. They will collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, engineers, and regulatory experts to translate maritime regulations into intuitive, scalable solutions for our customers.
Dive deep into maritime regulations to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive interfaces.
Own the end-to-end product design process, from concept to execution.
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize complex digital solutions.
Solve UX challenges by making data-driven and user-centered design decisions.
Work closely with customers, experts, product, and engineering teams to gather insights and iterate rapidly based on their feedback.
Ensure consistency and scalability across the product by developing and maintaining design systems.
Advocate for best UX/UI practices and stay updated on design trends and tools.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align product vision and design solutions with business goals.
Support and maintain our brand design
Job requirements
What you need to succeed
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Design or UX Design, preferably in complex digital environments.
Strong proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision; basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Deep understanding of user-centered design, responsive design principles, and UX best practices.
Ability to translate abstract ideas and regulatory complexities into intuitive user experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for improving user experiences and addressing pain points.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English (German is a plus).
