ABOUT THE COMPANY
Phlair unleashes CO2's potential through breakthrough innovation. We rapidly deploy Direct Air Capture technology, facilitating the removal and reuse of CO2 at scale.
For decades, fossil fuels served as the backbone and feedstock of our economy – with the downside of polluting our atmosphere. We invert this equation by developing a cost-efficient and scalable electrochemical Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. We have cracked the nut here by developing a breakthrough hydrolizer for acid/base regeneration, allowing us to capture CO2 from ambient air for either permanent storage or as a precursor for CO2-negative chemicals. For this, we collaborate with leading customers like Frontier Climate, Stripe, Shopify and Klarna.

YOUR MISSION AT PHLAIR
As Commercial Lead, together with our CEO Malte, you will play a critical role in developing and executing Phlair's commercial strategy. If you spike at strategically acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets, you’re great for this role and you’ll enjoy the journey ahead!
Develop and grow revenue for CDR sales and partnership projects by acquiring new customers and retaining/growing our existing customer base
Manage customer relationships along the whole customer journey, from the acquisition phase to the delivery phase and beyond and report on KPIs related to commercial activities
Work cross-functionally on topics in marketing, communication, strategy and operations together with the team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Hard skills that are necessary
You have a B.SC. or M.Sc. in STEM or a business-related field
You bring 7+ years of experience in commercial roles, business development, or sales, preferably within the climate tech, energy, or related industries
You have an understanding of carbon removal technologies and carbon management solutions or the ability to quickly understand the industry
You bring an existing network in the climate tech or carbon removal ecosystem or willingness to get out there and build this network for Phlair
Soft skills that are necessary
You are a skillful negotiator, and you have the ability to translate and explain complex concepts clearly and in detail to your audience
You are creative and analytical which allows you to structure solutions for diverse client requirements
GREAT TO HAVE, BUT OPTIONAL
Prior experience in the carbon removal market or industrial sectors (e.g. aluminum, steel)
