About the Venture

We’re building an AI-native platform for enterprise business modelling and scenario planning. At its core is a graph-based modelling engine combined with an intuitive user interface and an AI co-pilot for faster model creation and smarter decision support.

Our goal is to replace Excel as the default for complex business models, while offering a more flexible and radically easier alternative to current heavyweight tools. 

You’ll join a team of two senior Co-Founders with deep expertise in financial modelling and consulting for the enterprise market, and an already secured pre-seed fundraising round. 

We’re establishing our HQ in Helsinki and would be excited to hear from candidates who are already based there or open to relocating. That said, we’re also open to hybrid or remote arrangements within a reasonably aligned time zone.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Founding CTO to join us at the earliest stage, shaping the technical vision and building the company. The CEO is product-led so your focus will be deeply technical. You’ll be the architect of our core systems, making foundational decisions around architecture, infrastructure, and scalability. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll not only write code but also assemble and lead a world-class engineering team. More specifically you will:

• Design and build a scalable, flexible modelling engine combining graph and grid systems.

• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities deeply into user workflows.

• Ensure the architecture enables rapid iteration while meeting enterprise-grade security and performance standards, using a modern stack including Fastify, Next.js, Kafka, Neo4j, and a Go- or Rust-based calculation service

• Lead development of the initial product and shape the roadmap alongside the CEO, ensuring strong alignment between product and engineering

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team to support product growth, technical excellence, and long-term scale

About You

We’re looking for somebody deeply technical who enjoys working in early-stage environments and building complex systems from scratch. Ideally:

• You’ve architected and shipped technically complex products from the ground up - ideally involving graph databases or large-scale data modelling systems

• You have deep knowledge of the AI/LLM ecosystem and experience applying it meaningfully in production environments

• You’ve built secure, scalable SaaS products used by enterprise customers, balancing technical rigour with real-world constraints

• You’ve led high-performing engineering teams through the 0-1 phase and know how to scale talent, systems, and processes without overengineering

• You’re a strong communicator, able to represent the company credibly to investors, enterprise clients, and future hires

• You’re pragmatic, collaborative, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve quickly

• Bonus points if you’ve worked with event-driven architectures, FP&A tooling, or graph-based platforms
